Welcome! Beatnik Safari is an anagram of my first and last name, and also summarizes my two driving passions: words and travel. I fulfill my first passion every day as a teacher, advising middle school students as they learn to communicate. I spend most of my time outside the classroom on my second passion: dreaming, planning, and taking trips all around the world. In my home base of Bethesda, Maryland, I live with my husband and three stepsons. I’m glad you decided to join the journey.
